In this 8 week series the focus will be on creating an aerial act to perform. Select a character that interests you from a fairytale, from classic cartoons from movies or animated shows. We will play with character development, storytelling, costuming, audience interaction and your stage presence. Sequences in the air and on the ground will be explored to incorporate into your unique solo or duet routine. This series is for all ages but most appropriate for an intermediate level aerial or dance students.

Katharine Harts has extensive teaching experience in dance and the aerial arts. Currently she teaches at Samadhi Hawaii, Queen Emma Ballet and just completed 5 years on the faculty for Still and Moving Center. Ms. Harts owned an aerial studio in the Bay Area and received her MFA in Dance at the University of Arizona. Ms. Katharine creates a fun and supportive environment for students to learn and spread their wings.
