Katharine Harts holds an MA in Creation Centered Spirituality, an MFA in Dance, and studied Life/Art process at Tamalpa Institute with dance pioneer Anna and Daria Halprin. As an ordained minister with 20 years of full time ministry she has extensive training and experience facilitating body-based spiritual direction. In addition to running her own business, Ms. Harts currently teaches Aerial Yoga, Aerial Hammock Dance, Conditioning for Ballet Dancers, and Melt Method Classes at Still and Moving Center, Power Yoga Hawaii and Queen Emma Ballet.
Katharine Harts is a dance and fitness educator certified in aerial yoga, somatic disciplines and the MELT Method Bodywork. She holds an MFA in Dance from the University of Arizona, an M.A. in Creation Centered Spirituality and is a graduate of the Tamalpa Institute where she studied with dance pioneer, Anna Halprin. She the owner of The Center for Embodied Spirituality, LLC where she produces dance events and has taught hundreds of students in aerial dance. Some of her Professional Performance experience include Liz Lerman Hallelujah Project, ORTS Theater of Dance, Body Prints Theatre, Zenith Dance Collective, Anna Halprin’s “Spirit of Place” Stern Grove 2009 and UpSwing Aerial Dance Company National Dance Week Performance 2014-2018.
